  • Applied Nutrition: Research in sports nutrition and public health nutrition.

  • Food Science and Innovation: Development of functional foods and emerging food technologies applied to health improvement.

Peer-Review Process

The scientific integrity of our publications relies on a rigorous double-blind peer-review system. This mechanism ensures complete anonymity for both authors and reviewers, guaranteeing an impartial evaluation based solely on the scientific merit, originality, and methodological rigor of the manuscript.

Every submission that passes initial technical screening and similarity analysis is formally assigned to a minimum of two (2) external and independent expert reviewers, unaffiliated with the editorial board and the publishing institution. In the event of conflicting evaluations between the initial reviewers, the manuscript will be referred to a third independent referee to ensure a balanced, objective, and evidence-based editorial decision.

Revista Nutrición Continua adheres strictly to the Diamond Open Access model, treating scientific knowledge as a public good. We do not charge article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees to authors. All published content is immediately, permanently, and freely accessible online upon publication.
